When you see me in person to size a ring, I’ve got the fancy ring sizers. (Well, I think they’re fancy!) Generally when you order online from me, I’ll direct you to any number of printable ring sizers. They’ve got varying degrees of accuracy, but I can work with them.
So, what happens if you don’t have a printer? Well, since this happened very recently with me, I got to looking on the internet to see what I could find. I don’t know if this is a perfect fix, but it’s a start, anyway! Feel free to try it out and let me know how it coincides!
What you’ll need:
A ruler and a thin strip of paper. That’s it! Oh, and scissors to cut the paper!
Take the scissors and cut a thin strip of paper.
Wrap the paper around the finger you want to measure. Try to keep the paper near your knuckle, because a ring has to be able to go over your knuckle.
Mark the spot where the paper meets and measure the distance with your ruler.
Use this little chart thing to determine your ring size. Rings also come in half sizes, the measurements of which will fall somewhere in between the whole sizes.
